Straight to the point, the short answer to the question, “is herpes curable”, is, no, there isn’t cure for herpes, yet.  HOWEVER, there ARE very helpful treatments for herpes though, which I’ll discuss.

You DO NOT have to feel like your life is over.  Click here to discover the solution.

Again, you’re not alone in this.  You don’t have to suddenly shut yourself off from the world and hide.  A herpes cure might not be here yet, but there are powerful things you can do that don’t even require drugs, creams or medical procedures.  Is herpes curable? No, but there is hope.

Herpes can be extremely embarrassing. The places on your body that it shows up are the last place you want some horrible blister.  It can present itself on the lips, or genitals, or even other parts of the body.  And they can erupt at the least opportune times!  Like other STD symptoms, you might not notice them for weeks, months or even years.  Then suddenly they appear when you want to go on a date!

And of course if that happens you want to go run and hide again because you know you can spread the herpes virus through kissing, sex and other ways.  What a nightmare.

But NONE of that has to be your life.

The first thing that might be on your mind is “if there’s is no cure, then how can I treat herpes?”  We’ll get to that.

About Herpes

Just like any medical concerns, if you suspect you have herpes, it’s important to talk to your physician for diagnosis and get as much herpes information as you can.

is herpes curable?

Genital herpes infection is rather common in the United States, so it’s good to be concerned if you have a sore.  Close to 16%, or about 1 in 6, people 14 to 49 have genital HSV-2 infection.   Genital HSV-2 infection is more common in women (approximately one out of five women 14 to 49 years of age) than in men (about one out of nine men 14 to 49 years of age). Passing herpes simplex from an infected male to his female partner is more likely than the reverse.

Signs of herpes can include the following:

•    Blisters around the genitals, rectum or lips.
•    Sores after the blisters break.
•    Flu-like symptoms (fever, swollen glands).

Other signs and symptoms during the primary episode may include a second crop of sores, and flu-like symptoms, including fever and swollen glands. However, most individuals with HSV-2 infection never have sores, or they have very mild signs that they do not even notice or that they mistake for insect bites or another skin condition.

Some people wonder if cold sores are actually herpes.  Sometimes cold sores can actually be herpes, but it can be hard to tell and if you are concerned, it’s best to talk to a physician.

You don’t even have to have herpes to stress about it.  Sex is fun!  But worrying about getting STDs can ruin it.

Many normal, healthy people commonly ask, “is herpes curable?”   They may or may not have the virus, but it’s a question that can cause stress either way.  The thought of getting herpes virus can strike terror in the hearts of any normal person and make them desperate for a herpes cure.  Anyone who is sexually active can wonder they can get herpes dating someone.  Of course the answer is yes, if you’re getting intimate, unfortunately.

Q:  Is herpes curable, ever?  Will doctors find a cure?
A:  Someday, probably.  But not for a while.

Viruses are very hard to create cures for!  That’s why we don’t have a cure for AIDS or HIV yet, let alone a herpes cure!  Think of all the money that’s been spent on those diseases.  Every few months it seems like you’ll hear about an AIDS fundraiser or AIDS run, and they still haven’t figured it out.  You never hear about a Herpes Run.  The herpes virus is pretty much going on unchecked.

It’s not fair for those suffering from Herpes Simplex, but it’s just how it is at the moment.  Herpes sufferers need someone to come forward and make the disease their project in order to get it awareness and get the ball rolling toward really finding a herpes cure.

On the other hand, there are treatments available RIGHT NOW that can reduce or even eliminate the symptoms of Herpes.  Think of how great it would be to get your hands on what basically amounts to a herpes cure!  CLICK HERE to find out more.

Herpes causes more mental anguish and psychological pain than a lot of other problems.  It can make you not want to date or try to find a partner.   The fear of that moment when it’s time to get intimate can strike terror in the hearts of herpes sufferers.  Any kind of cure for herpes would seem like a dream come true.

The truth is, living with herpes doesn’t have to feel like a lifetime Prison Sentence.

I’ll share a secret.

Around ten years ago, I was exposed to herpes when having sex with a partner.

I contracted herpes and felt like my life was over.  I felt like an outcast and very depressed.

However, I did a lot of research, and I haven’t had an outbreak in years.

I know have to deal with the consequences and be responsible.  I have to tell partners that I am infected and I have to be careful and follow my specific list of steps that help me get rid of herpes.

But I feel like I have control of my life again.  I’m not depressed or even down about it.

And there are just a few key steps that I took to get to this point.

Vaccines and inoculations

Is herpes curable on any level?  Scientists have created vaccines for a few viruses like Smallpox, Hepatitis, Polio.  But it’s tough, and a herpes vaccine is not the same thing as a cure.  Viruses are like little packets of DNA more than a living creature.  They bounce around, waiting until they find their way into the best place for them to reproduce.  When they find that spot, they insert their code into the host and begin replicating.

Herpes imbeds itself in the body and kind of hides there.  It makes an appearance when you least want it to sometimes.  When you are stressed it can cause an outbreak of herpes blisters.  If you could stop those symptoms forever, wouldn’t you want to?

So maybe a better question is, in what ways is herpes curable…

We’ve all heard the horror stories and maybe have seen some horrible pictures of herpes.  It can be very scary and can make you not want to kiss anyone for the rest of your life (let alone other activities).

The social stigma can be absolutely heart breaking.  People can feel like outcasts.   It can make living a normal life feel like an unattainable dream.  When you find out there is no cure for herpes, it can feel horrible.

Natural Herpes Treatment

One of your first thoughts once you have a herpes diagnosis might be to try to find natural herpes treatment (as opposed to Valtrex or acyclovir, etc.)  Yes, there are options like amino acids such as lysine that can help. I’ll discuss this more later in another post.

But, in conclusion, is herpes curable?  Nope, but there are things you can do.  Powerful treatment for herpes is right there for the taking without prescriptions.

You don’t have to live in fear and depression.  I’ll discuss one Herpes treatment option that could easily be called “amazing”.  Well a lot of people who have Herpes actually do call it amazing and even more.  And one of the amazing parts is that you don’t need creams, ointments or pills.  And there are no costly medical procedures.
